Insurance Brokerage - Account Manager (construction and real estate)

Role:

As a Senior Account Manager, you will be creating and managing strong relationships, by prospecting new business, as well as maintaining the existing relationships.  Service excellence is key in this fast paced environment.  You will have a strong propensity to learn and grow professionally with us.
 

Responsibilities:

  • Uphold company service standards with integrity and trust
  • Prepare and deliver tailored insurance solutions 
  • Tender bid specification review, including whether a certificate and/or insurance letter is required
  • Analyze risk transfer programs
  • Prepare submissions and conduct market meetings and negotiations with the support of the team
  • Review contracts
  • Prepare tender reviews
  • Assist and advise management as required
  • Keep up to date with changing risk and insurance issues within the marketplace

 

Requirements

  • 3+ years experience in construction and/or real estate insurance
  • RIBO License (required)
  • Knowledge of Applied Systems Epic Broker Management System is an asset
  • Team player with strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Attention to detail, and excellent organizational skills
